Tomorrow is going to be the last day for Nightlights pre-orders to include the screened poster! The packages will remain up for a bit until the secondary items are sold out. Anyone who has ordered a shirt, please be a little patient as those will be shipping a little late because we need to get them made to the exact numbers of orders.

Offsides also has a new song up to check out off of the upcoming V/A “Chain of Strength Tribute” 7″s by 1124 Records. The releases will be two 7″s, each with the order of the original Chain of Strength 7″s. Bands on the albums include Ambitions (Yeah, they recorded new material and I am stoked), The Defense, Remission, Envision, Reign Supreme, One Choice, The Geeks and more. It is really going to be an awesome release as I have gotten to check out all the songs and am very impressed by everyone’s work.
Thanks to everyone pre-ordering the Nightlight’s CDEP and checking out the package specials. Some more label news should be up soon!

Hey folks! I am going to be indisposed for a few days starting tomorrow, so I am posting this a bit early. If the store isn’t set when you visit, just come back tomorrow.
Get Outta Town Records and Anchorless Records are pleased to announce the joint release of Nightlights “Long Way Home” CDEP. The band features Matt Messore (No Harm Done) on guitar/vocals. Catchy melodies and catchier hooks are sure to give this six song EP a place in your collection. For fans of Lifetime, Hot Water Music and Latterman. There are a bunch of special pre-order packages up including shirts, other GOT releases and the two versions of the Nightlights EP.

The store is finally up and running again! I haven’t been able to get everything up to Boston yet, but I should have more items up in a few weeks and a few more packages to weed out the old stuff. Most of the merch from past releases is not going to be remade and the one or two pieces I have left will make it into a package special.
Thanks so much to everyone who has been checking in about the label while I was getting situated! Things should be rolling a lot faster for the rest of the year.

Hope everyone out there is doing well. I have an update for you with some sales and label news, so read on!
RevHQ.com is having a May sale starting today that will have over 600 titles at under $5! This includes a bunch of the Get Outta Town Records CD catalog as well as tons of other really good releases from other labels. Don’t miss out on the deals.

Get Outta Town Records is going to soon be re-opening our webstore and have a new release coming soon. Stay tuned for news on that and keep checking back to see the packages that will go up along with the new title. Things are rolling again with the label and the site will be full operational again soon (aside from a few items in the store).
Paint it Black’s “Demo” 7″ is having the artwork done and finally steaming along. I am hoping to get this together and have it out in the next few months. There will be a pre-order and all that jazz and ALL proceeds are going to Callum Robbins, so be sure to support the foundation by picking up a copy when it is out.
Thanks for everyone who has been emailing me about the store being back up and just getting in touch about the label. I appreciate you caring enough to take the time to say hello. My northern move is pretty settled and things should be back to full force soon.

Well hello. I didn’t see you there. How’s about y’all come gather round and take a knee. No, not that knee, the other knee. No, again, different knee. Now you’ve got it…. Sensual….
Flame Still Burns “Point Across” CDEP is out now on Townhall Records. This is one of the first bands I ever played in from 2001. We split in 2003 after some severe debt hanging over us with Sony Music. We got a huge advance on our album and then blew it all buying a show pony that placed last… The money, gone forever… Anyway, we wrote and recorded an EP in 2007 with some old songs and some new songs, so should you be so inclined, give it a listen. Right now, it is available through Townhall Records’ store, but I will have it up in my store whenever I open that back up.
The digital store is up for anyone who would like to check out some music and perhaps make a donation.
Right now, things with the label are a little slow since I am still in the process of figuring out where to live and all of that jazz, so keep checking back for news and updates. I am working on the Offsides LP, Paint it Black “Demo” 7″ and a few other projects.
Thanks to everyone, as always, for checking out the label and being interested in what I am up to with it. Stay positive!

Happy New Year to everyone! I hope the holidays treated you well and that the 2010 is looking positive. I have a quick piece of news, so read on.
The webstore is going to be down for a few weeks. I just moved up to the Boston area and am trying to find a place to live and all that jazz, so everything is packed up in storage until I have things situated. Check back in a bit and see what’s cooking. When it re-opens, the sale will be discontinued.
Thank you to everyone that made 2009 so great for the label. Through the hard economic times, Get Outta Town Records got a lot of support and positive feedback and it is very appreciated. With that help, I am able to keep the label moving forward and I should hopefully have some new things coming up in the next few months. Thanks again!
