New Get Outta Town Records Donation Based Digital Store!
9.18.09
Hey everyone! After two weeks or seriously tiring work, I have a few updates. There is a new DEA FREE RELEASE, a new donation based digital download store and some additional news from bands.

DEA “s/t” EP is up for FREE DOWNLOAD. Be sure to check it out in the new digital download store and get the album full quality for nothing! The album does have a donation section if you’d like to help us cover the costs of recording and artwork, so feel free to contribute.

Get Outta Town Records now has it’s own digital download store. This store is totally donation based. Every song can be previewed and downloaded at 128 kbps for free. There are better quality songs and albums that can be downloaded for a small donation, which I would GREATLY appreciate, so please feel free to support the label and bands by contributing. In launching this new section of the site, I have put together a GOT Sampler 2009 that includes most of the releases to this point as well as some of my friend’s bands from around the country. Be sure to check out all the band’s myspace information and corresponding release info.

Today will be The Steal’s last show. It is a sad day, but they have decided to pursue other projects. They are playing with Paint it Black and Ceremony on their UK tour, so it is a fitting for them to go out with a bang. Their CDLP is available in the webstore for only a few dollars, so please pick it up if you haven’t. This band is phenomenal and this release is great, so don’t miss out.

I am trying my hand at skateboards and this will be the first one. Before I can put them into production, I need to get 11 pre-orders to make sure it is worth doing. It is available in the webstore, so anyone interested, please check it out.

Offsides is hard at work on our first LP. We have been recording with our good friend Greg up at Silver Bullet Studios in Connecticut. We have a few more things to finish up and we’re expecting a winter release for the record. Tour plans will follow with a November tour through Florida and then additional announcements in the new year. Our “Split” 7″ with No Harm Done is selling quickly, so be sure to pick up a copy! The last of our tour merch is up in the webstore, so if you want to make sure you get any of our current shirts, see what we have now as some of these designs will not be made in the future.
Thanks for everyone who has been supporting the label and picking up merch. I can never tell everyone enough how much every order helps and the emails of kind words and whatnot. Thank you.
-Charles
