Flame Still Burns “Point Across” CDEP

1.24.10

Well hello. I didn’t see you there. How’s about y’all come gather round and take a knee. No, not that knee, the other knee. No, again, different knee. Now you’ve got it…. Sensual….

Flame Still Burns “Point Across” CDEP is out now on Townhall Records. This is one of the first bands I ever played in from 2001. We split in 2003 after some severe debt hanging over us with Sony Music. We got a huge advance on our album and then blew it all buying a show pony that placed last… The money, gone forever… Anyway, we wrote and recorded an EP in 2007 with some old songs and some new songs, so should you be so inclined, give it a listen. Right now, it is available through Townhall Records’ store, but I will have it up in my store whenever I open that back up.

The digital store is up for anyone who would like to check out some music and perhaps make a donation.

Right now, things with the label are a little slow since I am still in the process of figuring out where to live and all of that jazz, so keep checking back for news and updates. I am working on the Offsides LP, Paint it Black “Demo” 7″ and a few other projects.

Thanks to everyone, as always, for checking out the label and being interested in what I am up to with it. Stay positive!

I’m moving, so the store will be down

1.9.10

Happy New Year to everyone! I hope the holidays treated you well and that the 2010 is looking positive. I have a quick piece of news, so read on.

The webstore is going to be down for a few weeks. I just moved up to the Boston area and am trying to find a place to live and all that jazz, so everything is packed up in storage until I have things situated. Check back in a bit and see what’s cooking. When it re-opens, the sale will be discontinued.

Thank you to everyone that made 2009 so great for the label. Through the hard economic times, Get Outta Town Records got a lot of support and positive feedback and it is very appreciated. With that help, I am able to keep the label moving forward and I should hopefully have some new things coming up in the next few months. Thanks again!
